You probably seen it.
You probably laughed your heart out.
You probably showed it to your mom.
You probably done your own rendition in the shower.
Renaldo Lapuz is the BOMB! He’s not as bad as William Hung but very entertaining. Especially with that connection to Simon (Bradah!) He’s got balls to do that.
Now you can put it on your phone. Download the MP3 Ringtone here (00:30).

Finding what to do with your voluminous SPAM? Google has an infinite database of “spam” recipes.
Head over to your Gmail Spam folder and you will see your “spam” recipe right at the top portion of the mails.
I got the recipe “Imperial Tortilla Sandwiches - To serve, each roll in half”. Yum.
Here’s a little bit of Google fun tucked and hidden somewhere. Enjoy!

In this day and age of the web advancing in lightning speed, how can a web awards be so ugly? I don’t mean to be mean but c’mon, at least set the bar higher as a respectable “web awards” body, right?
- The website isn’t web standards (CSS? anyone)
- And what kind of award giving body makes you ‘pay’ your way in? Lazy?
Nudging the “collective” web design community to recognize those world-class website. Indeed!
And why isn’t this beautifully done, pure javascript (no flash) website of Bayo not nominated in the fashion category? (Maybe because nobody forked out the entry fee money, that’s why.)

Surprised to see that some GMA sites are CSS, semantic markup & HTML validated (notice the green check mark).
Someone in the iGMA team hearts web standards and is doing a commendable job especially in the corporate arena. Thanks for making a mark, unlike your ugly twin (network) sister who is still sitting on the fence and has no track record of doing anything CSS (at least not that we know of). They, ABS-CBN (non)-interactive, choose to still make sites in the era of the “rotary telephone“.
Web standards adoption (especially in the corporate world) has been excrutiatingly snail-paced. Hope things start to tip.
Other sites from them are www.pep.ph, www.gmanews.tv, www.inquirer.net (though it still looks cluttered). The GMANews site has an excellent layout, by the way.
For those who would like a crash course on web standards, you can check links here and here.
So, Marimar hearts CSS

Philippine college basketball is really followed with ardent passion. With all of the games, highlights, brouhaha, rumors & tumors, one has to wonder that’s why college basketball is hotter than Marimar.
There’s one site that’s covering the ins and outs, inboundpass.com. For basketball fanatics out there, this site shares your zeal.
Pros: nice design, css and web standards, updated stuff, writers who know their play (so it seems), podcasts Wow!
Cons: No blog (how do you intend to talk to us), no “real-time” scores (who has?), videos (there are pirated videos here that Studio23 doesn’t seem to mind), player bio (Why not tie-up with ubelt or somebody?)
Wishlists: cheerleader profiles?

HBO Asia launches beta site. It has CSS layouts and DOM scripting (javascript) nicely sprinkled all around the site. No tables on the site layout and no Flash. Hurray!
Glad to see adoption of web standards even in the more unlikely corporate places. We hope to see more companies start injecting the “web standards culture” in their enterprise DNA. Cross your fingers.

I recently started playing with Pixsta. Interesting search technology you got to see. See similar items based on it’s visual search automatically extracted from its database of images. Take these demo sites for a spin: ChezImelda (my favorite), Elle’s browse&buy, and Explore on Net-a-porter.com.
The I LOVE YOU Store should start hacking one of these to power their catalogs. Catalogs? What catalogs?
